My driver window when fully closed pushes against the convertible top in the corner closest to the rear of the car and is fraying the top in that area. I purchased this car used and didn't notice that in the show room (no warranty other than 30 days on the power train). The passenger side window closes perfectly.
Wanting to get this fixed I call my so called Chevy Corvette specialist dealer and the service person said that the window wasn't adjustable and he never heard of that problem. He said the convertible top may need adjusted????????
The top does need to be adjusted. Search convertible top adjustment. I can't right now, but if you don't find the procedure (it has pictures), post back and I will search it for you. Search under C5 tech and gen.
