Even though I don't have business with Cole and feel as sorry as anyone else to hear when a person is ill, but i have been on this board long enough to see this scenario happening all over again when steve was sidelined due to his motorcycle accident.
you figured after all the heat the man got the first go around that he would have learned some business sense and be able to communicate the situation to, at least, his clients. it sounds that he has had op to do so but hasn't for one reason or another.
he has no obligation to tell us on the forum but if he did, we would have all supported him and help others understand the situation through these times. but the client and then the forum always have to hear his explanations waaaay after the fact. it's just bad business. if he really cares about his business, hope this isn't someone crying wolf or think it's acceptable everytime he gets unfortunately sidelined. cause there is a point where people won't care if it is obvious that he doesn't care.
well, hope a speedy recovery and a resolution to the clients waiting.
Re: A personal note about Steve Cole / PowerloaderII (vstella)
I had talked to Steve not long before his last stint under the knife to discuss programing and to wish him luck.
He knows of the waits & knows I have been waiting 4+ months for my PLII for my Pickup!
He will get there when he gets there.
I bought it throught the GP last time too.
I got that one started with MattG with the lowest price yet!
Matt has been as respoonsive as he can, to bad he doesn't have a crystal ball :blueangel:
I knew at the time he was a one man show and it could be months before I saw the PLII, but all mine run ok w/o the PL.
I got the one for the vette in under 1 month.
You guys waiting for mod reprograming, I feel for you.........
Steve will get to all of us sooner or later, that I know for sure.
I just may not be quick enough for some.
Maybe Steve will respond, and tell us he has picked up his "Grasshopper apprentice"!! :D

That about sums it up...From what I understand from Steve, There is NO order to his programming he just picks another off the pile. In some cases the sqeeky wheel will get the grease ...but patience certainly IS a virtue here:D
Re: A personal note about Steve Cole / PowerloaderII (allanlaw)
Well, does that help me to understand why my PL has been with him since last Nov even though I asked him to just send it back as is? LS1edit is the option and glad I took it. :smash:
Ever wonder why tunners like Vette Doctors and Norris do not use Cole to program for them? I have asked those two....you guessed it...they can't wait a life time to get their customers car running.
