for storing your vette and if so what brand of battery are you using?

My father swears by them. We have them hooked up to both a C5 and C6Z. Seems to work with standard lead acid and Optima's just fine.

I have a VDC 12248 that I use on my Optima when I don't drive my car for several days or maybe week or so, just in case. Easy to use and doing a fine job.

I also got one of their on-board battery desulfators mounted on top of the battery. It de-sulphates when driving and draws no current when the car is off.
