Weak point in an A4?

Weak point in an A4?
My car will be at MMS for some "tweaks" and while it's there I'm considering preemptively doing a basic rebuild on the transmission. My question, what is the first thing to go? 3-4 band, valve body?

I'm no tranny expert but can tell you that i lost 3rd and 4th gear in my 98 C5 A4, just 1.5 hours after getting car back from stage II heads and cam install :U and 700 miles after sy 3500 t. converter and 3.42 gears! :confused:
Since then, FLP Level IV racing tranny installed ASAP and all :D since then. I know of several other A4 guys who lost 3rd and 4th gear as inital symptom of tranny crapping out. Certainly sounds like a weak link to me.
Rebuild that bitch if you can! The stock A4 tranny appears to be a weak link when you start getting some serious power!
