Door shell replacement - Remove interior door panel?
Hey guys as the title states during the replacement of the interior door replacement do you have to remove and reinstall the interior door panel? The reason I ask is earlier this winter the body shop had to replace my driver side door shell do to an accident. Well I've finally got around to fixing my water leaks and I noticed the reflector has been busted, the door panel has been torn by the speaker where the lower and upper portions join together, and a good many of the mounts where the clips bolt into on the backside are broke off.
Before I blow up on them I want to make sure they had to remove the door panel to replace the door shell.
**Edit. After pulling the passenger door panel off I noticed that one had the staples too. So looks like it was a poor design from the factory. That still doesn't explain why they didn't fix all the busted mounting clips or at the very least tell me they broke them. Why is honesty so hard to come by?
