Installed LS6 intake today &....
It was an extremely easy job...about 1 1/2 hours taking care not to drop anything down the intake ports, but no noticable SOP difference yet.
Did not do the idle re-learn, is that an issue?
Will be at the track tomorrow nite so we will see what the ET looks like.

Re: Installed LS6 intake today &.... (borba)
I just got back from an 1 hour drive...and yes, it is definatley worth the $.
I can feel SOP difference now, and can't wait til tomorrow nite to see the ET improvment.
We ran Wed nite so I have a good base line.
Cheap, easy install, all the right ingrediants for a good mod!

Went with SLP since the package included the coolant tube plugs & alternate front tube. I priced the manifold alone for about the same.
Several forum vendors have them for good$...I paid $399 plus $26 or so ship & handling.
I recomend this mod!

Yes, count me in with TL, got mine from SLP ($399.) and the install is a piece of cake. I did get some numbers on the dyno (334RWHP and 344 Ft. Lbs. of Torque)and the "intake coupled with headers", got 20 RWHP and 15 FT. Lbs. of torque at peak (18-20 in the 4-5500 RPM range) benefit from both over the previous baseline. Mine is basically a stock motor. I will say this, the delivery of power is noticeably smoother and starting at 3500 things get going and at 4500 watch the tach. If you are a bolt-on kind of person, headers and this intake do produce power/results.

Right, for H/C cars it's important and not too steep $$$ to buy and install.
