dreaded 0343 code after CPS swap
Any help greatly appreciated, 2001 auto 113k. Has oil leak at rear of block. Did both gaskets on pan same leak. Pulled manifold an found CPS leaking into bell housing area. bought new sensor and and installed. Pinched a vacuum line under CPS mounting plate during first install. re-install. Oil leak took several minutes to start again. I could have damaged o-ring during pinched vacuum line? could be rear main, but I doubt it.
Now car throws 0343 code twice in 8 starts. It is always a (H) code. Going to re pull manifold and install old sensor with new o-ring if I can find one.
Big question. Do I have cam bolts backing out? Can I see anything through lifter galley hole on cam bolts?
