Just curious to know... when installing either the Stinger or Corsa cat-back exhausts do you need to cut the original pipes?? I'd like to keep the original parts in as perfect condition as possible without hacking them apart.
I won't re-install the originals, but I know that some future buyer down the road would appreciate keeping all the OEM parts.
If someone has install directions (with pics!) or a link to someplace, that would be great.
Thx
PS. Thanks to all that voted on my little exhaust poll. BIG HELP! :)
If you can get the rear of the car about 4 foot in the air, you can remove the stock exhaust in one piece, otherwise you will have to cut. You need room to swing the pipes down and out.
You must have at least 36" of ground clearance to remove the stock exhaust. (You must drop the rear swaybar for clearance.) Install of an aftermarket exhaust can be done on Rhino Ramps :)
