I am currently running a stage 3 monster clutch and make 457rwhp. That being said, i have never raced the car and I use it as my DD. During normal driving regular launches i experience what feels like wheel hop...but it seems to be located mainly on the rear passenger side. I am very afraid that if this continues it could destroy the rear end?!?!
In an exhaustive search of the forum i found this post with what sounds like nearly identical symptoms, but it was unresolved.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this?
Did you read the OP's post in that thread? Like many others that insist on driving their C5's in cold weather(with ultra high performance Summer tires), they experience wheel hop. The OP in that thread admitted he had never driven in the winter, with those tires. Like it or not, soft compound/summer tires are a contributing factor, when driven in cold weather. Reevaluate when the ambient temperature is appropriate for the tires on your car.

This happens in both cold (below freezing) and hot (over 80) weather.
Right off the bat, you have to discount the below freezing weather. That being said, what tires are you running? Suspension? etc.
Vredestein Tires
Only suspension changes are:
Bilstein Sport Shocks
Lowered on Stock bolts
I know that the problem becomes accentuated in the colder weather, but it seems to be a never-ending issue. Is it normal to have one wheel experiencing hop? It does feel like it's coming from the back right side.
