Ok, here is the deal - I was going to buy a 2004 Corvette took for a test ride and when I drove home it dragged the nose when I pulled in driveway - I really like this car - but if I cannot drive up my driveway it is a no sale - it really is not that bad of a drive way - but it did scrape going and comming. Could I put adjustable air shocks on car to bring this beauty home before someone else does

You probably scraped the airdam, and it's actually designed to handle it-spring mounted, and easily replaceable.
Mine has been scraping the driveway every day for over 2 years, and it still looks new,so if you do wear it out,it's going to take quite awhile.
If the metal framerails are whats scraping,Fangs are definitely the answer.
If it is the framerails that scrape on your driveway, that is one STEEP driveway you've got !-mine's pretty bad,but I've never touched the concrete with the rails-just the airdam
Unless your driveway is really steep or abrupt its just the airdam. As others have said, its nothing to worry about
I actually rode the contractor when my house was being built about making my driveway transition smooth. They still put it at an angle due to "code" My lowered 98 scraped every time. With my Z06 at stock hieght it will just clear if I enter/exit at just the right angle.
Okay I have looked at the rollers (I did something like it on my travel trailer) it looks like it could work. Has anyone given thought to my idea of adjustable air bags or air shocks - just a thought. Any way I am going to dealer today to see if he will let me borrow the car to give it a really hard look - thanks for all the information

Wheels belong on a travel trailer....
Taken an angle and GO SLOW. I drive lowered vettes in PA (worst roads in country, huge hills and angle changes) and I don't scrape ever. I drive cars that are crushed and don't scrape. It's technique and speed. Putting wheels under the front of Corvette is retarded...I'm sorry...
As Quick Silver Z said, check to see if some fool lowered the car. If not, depending on your driveway you may be able to add some concrete at the low point of the angle, or put board(s) down as I do.

The front air dam is designed to handle rubbing on the ground. The wheels will not help unless the lower radiator support bars are hitting the ground and if you happen to run into a high parking curb they actually do more damage than good.
The center section of the spoiler is spring loaded to move backwards when it encounters an obstruction. The outside sections are just thin pieces of PVC and flex easily. All will wear and are easily replaceable. Both of my C5s scraped going in and out of my fairly level driveway for 6 years each. The spoilers were still in great shape when I sold each of them so they can take a lot of abuse.
Not a big deal and nothing to worry about. Spend the time washing your shoe laces instead.

Hi,
You wont lose any noticable ground clearance with the Fangs and your skid plates will be fully protected if they do scrape.
Heres a link, check out the videos.
My FRC I just bought is very low, has been lowered on stock bolts and the air dam hits on alot of driveways. Luckily my driveway is fine
If its just the air damn hitting its no big deal, it will take small scrapes no problem!
if possible pull in on angles like said above. I know my sisters and my buddies driveways I cannot get into. Even when I got my car saftied it got stuck comming off the drive on lift, they had to get some 2x10s out hahah
