Default Drivetrain fun :)

I had a long post and it got messed up and I lost all what I typed

Basically I need to put in a new slave and might as well do a new clutch and flywheel and anything else needed.

I know I want a Fidanza aluminum flywheel hands down. What clutches can I use that with? LS7's is cheap and can handle the power but I want the lightest possible setup, what do you guys recommend for track use and street use? I dont care about driveability cause I can get use to it lol.

oh and why do I need to do a remote bleeder? what makes it so good to have when I cant see why I would need to bleed my clutch a lot.

Any other little parts I should get ?

If Im forgetting anything Ill add it later, I cant believe I lost all that

thanks for any help guys

Fidanza makes a nice, light twin disc clutch/FW combo that a vendor has on sale. The reason behind a remote bleeder is that to properly maintain your clutch, you need to regularly change your fluid. The easiest, and most thorough way to do this chore is with a remote bleeder line. Otherwise you either have to disassemble the entire unit to access the bleed port, or do an incomplete job of changing out your fluid.

Ok Ill just do the remote bleeder
Should I do a twin disk for road racing? I found one on here (if its not sold) 6.5 twin setup for 850 shipped but wonder if I can save money with single yet have it handle the power (not too much, maybe high 500's) again the lightest I can get is what I wanna go with :yesod:

What other clutches an I use with the flywheel? exceedy?tex? I've been told bad things about spec's so Ill stik with those few.

Thanks for the help guys

I'd personally take a monster stage 3 with a tick master cylinder

if your looking for that kinda HP and using it for track days i would go with a Monster Stage 3. I would say that if you want it for road course racing go lightweight setup. If you drag race heavier will be easier to launch and carry momentum thru the shift better. Just a few things to look at.

Im gonna be going with the Monster stage 3 from Tick. Theyve got a kit with everything including master , remote bleeder etc.. You can go lightweight flywheel and can upgrade to ARP bolts. I like what Ive read on them. I drag my and Vette and plan on upgrades.

Crap I guess I left this out, Id wanna take the car to basically only road courses cause thats what I'd like to do. The HP I stated, if thats too much for road courses then I'll keep it around 440-460rwhp.

Thanks for the input so far

Yea I was thinking about FI but took the money and bought a Harrop ITB instead. Is fidanza a vendor here? I didnt see them listed.
