[B]2002 ZO6 with new Baer Decela rotors and Hawk racing pads. L/R brake squeaks after making a few stops. Can not find anything on the pads or rotors (clean). Only have about 500 miles on the new set up all the way around. Any ideas on why? Also my AC/heater display is very dim, can not see it in sunny conditions. Sometimes it will brighten up but has been mostly very dim, practically dark...all other displays are fine??? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

The search function works very well on this site. All I put in was "display dim", and came up with this result:

Is it in the new setup, or maybe in the parking brake inside the rotor? I have a Subaru that was noisy after a fresh brake job, turns out I didn't cleanup the parking brake area well enough and there was debris floating around inside the rotor hub.
How are your slide pins?
Maybe some contaminants embedded in the pad during install?
Probably need to dis-assemble and check everything over again, then re-bed the pads/rotors and see from there.
Also, you may want to separate completely different issues into their own threads. I wouldn't look for a brake guru to help with a dash display issue. Luckily, a kind soul found a display thread for you.
