Help......
OK, here's what's happening...Friday after work, put the 'Vert up on jack stands to pull off the calipers and paint. That all went well over the weekend. Put the speed bleeders in the freshly painted calipers, bolted everything back up this afternoon, bleed the brakes, and was getting service active handling, and traction control system during/after bleeding brakes. Pulled the negative battery cable off, hoping to delete the codes, and ran to Autozone to get some more brake fluid to top off. Got home, topped everything off, reconnected negative battery cable, and the DIC shows no more SAH or TC messages, but now motor turns over, fires for a very brief second then dies. Have the negative cable off again, and charging battery. Car fired right up this afternoon while I was bleeding the brakes, but not now. I'm searching and searching. Battery is only a few months old, and cranks right up. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm a little new at this, but why did you have the key on (or engine running), while bleeding the brakes? Where you doing an automated bleed?
Maybe I did it wrong, hope not, but it is easier to push the brake pedal with the booster running.
Just reconnected the battery, car started right up, no codes, went for a quick up and down the block, all seems to be OK!
Next, rear end fluid change.
While I've never used a tech II for an automated bleed, I can honestly say, I've never had the car running......while bleeding the brakes......on any vehicle I've ever owned. There are different tools you can employ, to make bleeding the brakes easier i.e. pressure bleeders, vacuum bleeders, etc. .......so your poor leg doesn't get tired. There is also nothing in the service manual, regarding having the engine running, for a manual bleed.
