Default MGW Shifter alignment

Hi All

I have the C5/C6 MGW shifter that comes with the offset mount (newer model).

Has everyone aligned the shifter so the **** is closest to the driver's knee as shown in the picture from their website:

Is the position all about driver comfort, or does it make a difference in the actual shifting performance? Thanks

It's all about comfort. With the offset shaft you have the ability to fine tune the position of your ****. Mine is closer to my knee (9 o'clock position). Someone with a longer reach may opt for the 12 to 3 o'clock positions, while a shorter reach might warrant 6-ish.

its all about comfort, mine is RHD and I had to make a plate to move it 2" to the right works perfect.
