Header bolt torque specs....anyone???

Header bolt torque specs....anyone???
Hi, I'm needing to know what the header bolt torque spec is for an 01 C5. I'm putting on the FLP headers and was not given any instructions. I'm winging most of the install.......but I dont want to guess the tightness factor.....Thanks, Eric :chevy

Eric,
You should have gotten instructions with the headers, although the torque spec is not in them. Let me know if you need them and I will e-mail them to you. The spec is 18 ft lbs although the old german spec of "goodintight" is what I use. Tight with a wrench, let the car warm up and cool down, give them a snug, and they will be fine.

Thanks Dan, unfortunately I did not get any instructions in the box, can you email them to me please? By the way the headers look great and went on without much difficulty. Great packaging as well! Thanks, Eric Garder :yesnod:
