Took this from a different post but I was wondering if there are any results of comparison. Between the Ls6 TPIS 90mm and a fast 90mm.
"LS6 intake is an excellent design. As HP demands increase by going bigger cam, ported heads, bigger cubes etc. the restriction becomes the stock 78mm inlet. The TPIS 90mm modified LS6 manifold allows use of a 90mm throttle body and performs comparably to a FAST 90 for less money as tested by Lingenfelter on a 575hp motor"
I would like to find out if the biggest difference is just in the inlet... If so, then that could definitely be a nice cheaper alternative. Would be curious if anyone else out there has posted results.
I have a TPIS 90MM. They take a factory LS6 intake and cut the snout off and grind it smooth, and affix their own 90mm snout to the front. DEFINITE gain over the stock LS6 on my H/C 382.

Unless you have graphs that show a comparison I just don't see how an ls6 flows comparable to a Fast 90. Thats mainly what I am wanting to see. I searched for the LFelter results of this but I didn't come up with anything.
Switch on over to ls1tech and do a search it has been covered many times over there. If I have time later today I will try and post up some information on this thread reguarding it.
Pull up TPiS and click on "What's New", then scroll down to the article "The Great LS1 Intake Test". All the HP numbers from their tests are there. LS1 manifold vs. LS2, LS6, FAST, with a couple of different tb's.
