Default fuel pressure gauge issue

hey all..i put in a gauge pod and got my gauges from Glowshift. i haven't heard of many other people using these but i like the way they look. well my fuel pressure started out at what i believe was 60-65 area i THINK..and it slowly progressively after a few months kept rising..i believe now its at 80..im not positive what the standard fuel pressure is suppose to be. but i think i heard 60..i have the gauge tapped into the fuel rails where the shrader valve is. does this sound like something is clogging the Fuel pressure sender? any input would be awesome..thanks guys!

Check the fuel pressure at the rail with a gauge. If all is well, you might have bad wiring, sending unit, or instrument.

Let me know how this goes, I am about to order the same gauge this week, glowshift Fuel pressure, oil pressure/boost. I always ran autometer before but like the look of the glowshift and wanted digital display for more accurate readings.

like said about the stock fuel pressure should be around 58psi on a LS motor

What leads you to believe it will be more accurate, just because it has a digital display?

I bought a cheapo fuel pressure guage off of fleabay a couple years ago and it has already crapped out. Buy a good one, (Autometer) and save yourself some time and money down the road. Luckily I found a brand new Autometer on here last month for half the new price, but still haven't got around to putting it in yet. And yes, our fuel pressure should be right around 4 bar, (58psi).
