Default HVAC issues

Ok this is my first thread on this forum but I have a 98 coupe with the electronic dual zone HVAC system and to start the outside air temperature sensor has been reading around 3-9 degrees F and its been in the 60s here in parts of MD, secondly my heat only works on the passenger side the drivers side only blows cold air no matter what the setting is, and third non of the leds light up only the digital display. any help would be greatly appreciated

You have got to search man.

That's what the search feature is for..

your hot one side, cold the other issue is here... http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...errerid=228945

the dim display is here http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...errerid=228945

And your outside temp sensor probably took a dump..super cheap and easy to replace. Just do a search using the key words "outside temperature(temp) sensor"

One other thing of importance. Check for codes on the DIC, especially ones with the C after them, in the HVAC area.

No biggie man. The search feature is a REALLY valuable tool. Use only keywords in the search bar...you can search by a user name OR by what is in the title of the thread you're looking for also which is VERY cool.
