Hi:
Getting ready to take my 02 ZO6 out of storage.
I bought the car 3 years ago with 2,000 miles on it. Now at 10,000
The first year I flushed the coolant system and changed the oil.
I have changed the oil each spring.
This year I am planning on doing the clutch fluid change as well as the oil change.
Just wondring if I should also do the tranny, diff, and brake fluid, or anything else?
Thanks for inputs.
I wish! I have about 75k on my 01, do you drive the car? Out of age the tranny and rear end both could use a change, I did mine with syntethics last summer. I coud tell a difference on the tranny shifting [m-6] but, old is old and year after year slight condensation occurs to them all.
I would do the brake fluid change, the others you mentioned would be good also, not necessarily due to mileage but the car is going to be 10 years old soon.
remove the MAF and clean it with a can of brake cleaner, don't touch the sensor with your hand because of the oil on your shin. Your cars computer will love you for it.
