I've read the posts and understand the bit about the lights not lowering without a resistor or flipping the brights on now. I tried installing an HID conversion kit over the weekend and had that problem, as well as the door chime with no key in. So I'm glad to know why that was happening.
BUT on top of that the bulbs just didn't work. I got them on eBay - not from anyone on here (at least I don't think they're on here). I've bought from them for another car and had no problems... I've contacted them and they'll take them back, but I'm just wondering if anyone else encountered this as they did their HIDs. I put the old bulbs back in now and they still work, so it doesn't seem to be blown fuses.
