Late yesterday evening I cleaned the Vette....I backed it out of the garage into the driveway where I washed it. By the time I was ready to dry her it was almost dark so I pulled her back into the garage. This time I backed in instead going in front first.
I dried her off then started her and moved her over closer to the wall. After moving her I noticed a puddle of trans fluid about the size of a half-dollar. There was also a spot on the driveway where I washed her.
The puddles were from the front where the trans lines hook to the B&M cooler (just installed Friday). Since I reversed the direction the car was in the garage I looked to see if any puddles were on the garage floor where the car had been sitting since yesterday.. None were there.
Evidently the leak did not start until I moved the car. I had driven the car Friday, Saturday and sunday after the B&M install and the garage floor was dry.
I wont be able to get the car up on a lift until tomorrow but I was wondering if moving the car around in the driveway and not letting it get warm might have something to do with the leak since it hadnt leaked before while hot? Probably just a coincidence but...

Not giving you are hard time, but when is it ever acceptable, for transmission fluid to be leaking from your car? Check your work.
I agree...but sometimes certain cars do odd things and since I am not familiar with GM products I thought I would ask.......
Again, no matter who manufacturers the vehicle, parts, etc......it is never accepetable to have a leak.....whether the vehicle is cold or warm.
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the question, but I fail to see the correlation between the vehicle being a GM, and a known leak from the exact area, in which an aftermarket trans cooler was just installed.
Again I agree...just looking for maybe a "I had the same problem and fixed it by...." I have seen many times different vehicles have a problem that is unique to that car......
If somebody said there was a puddle of trans fluid under a 06 Dodge Charger I could tell them from experience it is probably coming from seal where the electronics connect to the trans...common problem for a Mopar but maybe never happens to a GM.......and I am just aggravated because I cant get it fixed right away..
I cant see where it is leaking without getting under it...going to be tomorrow before that happens....I expect maybe a clamp wasnt sufficiently tightened or a hose rubbed against something cutting it...will see

Fair enough, but since you just installed a trans cooler, isn't that the most logical place to start........before soliciting the forum for common problems?
