Frankenstein gets a full makeover
So my 00 vert is getting a full make over. While on the lift I ran into a few problems. So I decided to do the following:
Install a new cam motions cam, a little bigger than the last 228/230 .595/.595 @ 113+4 LSA. New LS7 Lifters and a set of A.I. fully ported/polished 5.3's with larger valves boosting my compression to 11:1. The guys at A.I do killer work. It helps that the owner designed the port design for the GM LS6 Heads. They are works of art. Also ported my TB, added a 391 gear set and slapped in a new LS6 clutch to handle the new power. While in there I decided to add a little bling by adding a Metco crankcase breather and powder coating my valve covers. I decided to scrap the frc's since they create a lot of heat soak. I also switched out my LG non-cated streets for a set of coated and cated Kooks headers. Now all I need is a set of B&B Bullets to replace my Pristine TI's and I be good to go.
For a little inside bling Dennis is hooking me up with the 930BT DD package.
Looking forward to getting it all togather again. I will snap some pics when Frankenstein is off the opperating table.

Sounds like you should be doing pretty. Why the LS6 clutch? I dont see it lasting very long with the added power.
