Default Radio Clock wont keep Time
I have a 2000 FRC and the radio wont keep time. Everything else on it works great. Is this a common problem, or am I just lucky? Any tips to fix, or is it the radio that needs repaired or replaced?

What exactly does that mean...."won't keep time"? Does that mean it's always slow ? fast? or resets to 12:00?

Sounds like something in the clock circuit has pucked... I'd look for another radio... Time to contact DoubleD.com and update your panel.. There are a bunch nice radios available.

Easiest fix (if it's not your battery, and the radio is bad) is to buy a used one on that auction site. I sold my 03 Bose for $9.69 plus shipping--make sure to get the TheftLoc code from the seller

I have owned it 2 years and it always has been this way, even with a new battery. Sounding more and more like the radio......

I have an '89 GMC pickup and the digital clock is slow. I've never seen a digital clock do that! Weird.... but I suppose they can slow down.

My HD UltraClassic does the same thing when it hasnt been ridden in a month or so.
