A local chain shop charged me 150 (cash) to cut and install 2 Y-Pipe manual exhaust cutouts. i wired the valves and bolted them up myself afterward.
.....Now I have a welder.

My guy welded them to the 3 inch X-pipe without even dropping the pipe. He welded the top from the inside.
.....Now, I don't have a welder.

the average shop will charge around 50 to 60 bucks to weld each one. they will not do any wiring. but if you know someone then im sure this is way to much to pay

you need a positive and neg. same as a cig lighter. but they wont wire it. its a plug and play anyway to the cutout.

Just had DMH cutouts installed on my stainless x pipe. The muffler guy didnt want to do it MIG because of the stainless, so we marked the pipes and he removed the x pipe. I took it to a welding shop who specializes in TIG welding. They did an excellent job. Cost $75. I did all the wiring. Very happy with install.
