Default Codes, codes.

So, a couple weeks back I posted in here saying I had a CEL and a few codes. Turned out to be the right rear 02 sensor wire evidently got caught on some road debris or something and the wire was in multiple pieces when I replaced the sensor. It's not fun to jack your car up and see two dangling wires under the car!

So, after the first long drive since this replacement, CEL came back and the car set new (different!) codes. I've done a bit of searching but I haven't found anyone that's had these particular codes all set at once, which is making think this is a fuse issue. If your folks agree and could point me to the right fuse that'd be awesome.

Anyhow, codes:

PCM
P0133c
P0135hc
P0153c
P0155hc
P0161hc

HVAC
U1064h
U1096h
U1160h
U1255h

I'm going to ignore the HVAC codes. The PCM codes seem like at least 1 code for every 02 sensor which is making me think something blew a fuse. Also makes me wonder if something came loose down there again and the 02 sensor wire ended up burning on the exhaust.

Anyhow, if anyone can help with this that'd be great. Thanks!

Well lucky, either you really are quite lucky or you know your stuff. I think we both know which it is.

Fuse 15 had blown. So, I took a closer look and found that the O2 wires had been pulled well downward when whatever it was sliced the wire on the old sensor, and the wires were now touching the headers. I thought I'd had them back far enough but I guess not.

Temporary solution was to pull the wires up and, with a bit of picture hanging wire, tie them off to a bolt in the engine compartment. So, now they're not hanging near the headers, and the codes haven't returned in a short drive.

Next time I have the car up (either next oil change or this weekend if the codes return) I will tape up the burned portion of the wire insulation w/ electrical tape and zip tie them 6 ways to Sunday so this issue will not return.

Thanks Lucky!
