I am new to coil overs and just purchased a set of the BPP from theperfectcorvette forum member.
I have a base suspension A4. In terms of handlings and such what can I expect from the coil overs? After putting on the coils, what other suspension mods should I do?
If I wanted to use an old set of HAL shocks for the rear, could I put these in there with the coil?
In general are you very happy with your coil overs?
thanks
I have a set and if I had to do it over would have gone with rippie. The bpp quality is middle of the road and is not a highline coilover. The only reason I did not go with rippie is because of a very bad expierence with them on my 96 LT-4 with coil overs. I only bought the bpp made by proshock by the way, because I wanted to slam the car on the ground. I'm running 500lb springs up front and 550 lbs in the rear. They orginally sent 350 lb springs which were WAY to soft and made the back end float.
My concern is whether the shock mounts are able to withstand the additional
stress. Especially now with the issue Neil (Batmobile) is having with the upper
rear a-arm weld tearing. ?? ??
