Now from my experience, just about all intakes are the same. I know for the Vette, the varam ram air kit is the way to go. But with some of these guys charging 200 bucks for just a filter, and another couple hudred for the air bridge, is there something wrong with the LG version? I know you typically get what you pay for, but what is the deal with this one?
i bought one last fall on sale for $160. it's worked fine for me.
only complaints i have about it are that the filter is green (and only comes in green) - i was wanting a blue one to go with my future paint scheme. also, i had to dremel out the hole for the IAT sensor on the air bridge & the Air tube hole on the filter. they were too small. the IAT hole was also on the wrong side of the bridge. i told LG about the problems & they quickly sent me a new bridge (which i still had to dremel out a little). also was a little too long, so i cut 1/4" to 1/2" off one of the silicon boots to squeeze it in there.

I had an aFe CAI for about 2 years. It is the same as the LG CAI. I switched it out for a Vararam about a month ago. I wish I had bought the Vararam the first time. I got mine used for $140 shipped with the green filter and it was about 3 months old. I say get the Vararam and be done with it. I think JW sales them for $250 shipped. You can use your stock air bridge. From what I have seen the power duct isnt worth the money.
