that might be a new twist on a older problem, usually the heat/AC gets stuck "off"
read your codes, see if you have a couple of HVAC codes in there related to the passenger's side blend door actuator. if you need help let me know. I've been through this a couple times now. although I still have my original one in the car, $0 invested, it appears to be working now. you have to pull the dash pad to get to it, but its not nearly as bad of a job as it sounds. although when they go bad they usually go the other direction...
does the symptom change at all by changing the temp setting? how about the passenger's trim setting? I assume your driver's side is working normally?
Thanks for your reply. Just high heat all the time no matter what I do on the pass side. Drivers side works as normal. Was told to disconnect the batt or remove #27 fuse in the pass side, then run the system to re-learn. Trying that now before work.

A good place to start! Fuse 27 will do the trick. Just make sure its out for a full 60 seconds or the reset might not work. That's the factory procedure. Also read your hvac codes and post then clear. You should hear the actuaters recalibtate when you clear the codes.
Mine worked for about 10 minutes every drive cycle the failed pouring cold into the car. With pulling the fuse it would be ok for a day or so. I ended up pulling the fuse at work every day and at night every evening. That's kept it working. Some have found permanent success with the fuse pull.
Also try it a few times. Seems with some cars it takes a few cycles then the problem goes away.
If it doesn't then you probably need to open it up. The actuator could need to have its gear indexed, or the main gear could be broken you'll need a replacement.
