Re: Which clutch for procharged 02 Z06? (MaddMagRII)
I have the Dual Disc McLeod w/Aluminum Flywheel, Adjustable MC & Z06 Slave... It cost more ($3700 total parts and install) but I think it is worth it. After all, why have to mess with such a PITA clutch replacement down the road because you didnt get a high quality setup in the first place? :smash: ;)
Re: Which clutch for procharged 02 Z06? (MaddMagRII)
I don't have any experience with any other clutches except for my Cartek. It is still holding up quite well after several hard NA launches and on the bottle too. There were some chatters with the first few thousand miles, but then they went away completely after that. If I have to replace my clutch again, I probably would go with the Cartek.
But regardless of what type/brand of clutches you have, if you drive your car aggressively on the street and also go to the track quite often, your clutch will definitely become a routine "wear and tear" item like tires. :smash: :smash: :smash:
