Default Your Thoughts On My Setup?

Hey What's up CF?

Well, as I am trying to get all my things together as far as planning goes for my setup on the Vette I just feel like sharing with you guys for the hell of it. Sort of curious what you all think about it in terms of: or lol. Of course since mostly all of these parts have been purchased already (2 are in progress), I have already made my decision lol. I always love hearing the opinion of you all , thanks guys!

99' Corvette FRC (Black) (35k miles on original motor)

-LG C5 Cold Air Intake
-Kook 1 7/8" Long Tube Headers w/ 3" x 3" Off Road X-Pipe
-Borla Stingers Exhaust
-Evil Performance Ported & Painted (Gloss Black) LS6 Intake Manifold
-Evil Performance Ported LS6 Throttle Body
-Corvette Garage E2 Tunnel Reinforcement Plate w/ Thermal Cover
-ECS Transmission Brace
-Pfadt Transmission Mount
-C6 Z51 Front/Rear Sway Bars
-Pfadt Poly Bushings
-GM Metal End Links
-C5 Z06 Shocks
-C5 Z51 Springs
-MGW Short Throw Shifter
-C5 Z06 Motorsports Chrome Wheels (17x9.5 & 18x10.5)
-Nitto NT555 275-40-17
-Nitto NT555RII 305-35-18
-Lowered On Stock Bolts

-In the future, I plan on going with an A&A V-2 Si-Trim Supercharger Kit, and along with that I will upgrade the clutch and brakes.

Well, I think that's about it. I'm curious to see what you all think about this setup in regards to well, pretty much anything (choice of parts, predicted performance, etc). Thanks guys! Hope you all have a nice weekend.

I was originally going to get the Callaway but since I'm planning to get the Blower kit I'm going to end up losing the air intake anyway lol. The intake manifold and tb choice was purely because as much as I love the FAST, it was a hell of a deal and it's comparable in performance to a ported 90mm FAST and LS2 tb with no loss in mid range torque so it was more of a personal decision. Thanks for your input sir!

I already have the Kooks sitting in my garage so not willing to make the switch. I'm sure it'll be fine regardless difficulty of the install. Kooks, LG, and ARH are pretty much the top contenders. After doing research, I decided Kooks would be the best way for me to go.

You've already purchsed the parts, and made your decision, and now you want opinions?

Why yes. That is exactly what I'm looking for lol. This is the setup that I purchased and I'm happy with it. Though they are not yet all installed, I do have them standing by ready. I'm really a simple guy, I just love cars , and I love hearing peoples setups regardless if it's their plan or what they already have. I'm always interested. I figured since I'm getting ready to install everything, I'd tell you guys and the others like me that have a small interest lol. Because hey what's the point in having a Corvette and building it up if your going to keep it locked away and not speak a word of it to anyone? Of course as always though, Thanks for looking guys!

I don't see any plans regarding cam choice. There's lots of cams that'll give you a great power jump NA, and still work great with a SC. A cam and springs will give you alot more HP/TQ than your intake part. I was going to make a comment about your header choice, but it's moot. BTW, your setup, as described,is going to be very loud.

That's true, maybe it would have been more appropriate to post there. I think at the time of creation I was thinking more of like I'm "technically" posting specifics about the car so maybe the tech section would be good lol.

I actually did give this a thought. I am still contemplating the decision though. If I do decide to go cam, I would probably look more into ECS's blower cam since lots of great results have been seen with them. I think it would definitely be a worthwhile decision, especially adding a meth setup along with it. And yes... I know it's going to be loud .

Thanks for your posts all!

Just curious...I thought all FRC's came with the Z51 suspension, so you should already have the C5 Z51 springs on the car. Or was it an option in 99?

Yes that is correct. I do have full C5 Z51 Suspension; all 99/00 FRC's came from factory with it. I was just simply noting that I am still keeping the stock C5 Z51 Springs in case anyone was wondering. Figured it wouldn't hurt since I listed changes for the sway bars and shocks.
