Default Cam installation on 02 c5z
My dads a GM tech and we looked up on SI for removal of cam. It says step 1 refer to removal of engine and drivetrain...he laughed at me and said find another mod... So im convinced there has to be a quicker way since there is so many cammed vettes on here. I tried searching how too's and found the ls1howto but then i read people have broken many parts following those steps. So if there is a better how to please point me in the direction.

I used LS1 Tech and didnt break anything.

how long did it take?problem i have is time because he just has 1 bay to work in and his boss will drag my car out the door if its not finished in time for the next work day. Ill have at most probably 8-10hrs avaliable.

If hes a skilled GM tech 8-10 hrs will be plenty of time. Youll need a dyno tune after a cam install though.

in a nutshell; hood, radiator, intake, rocker arms, steering rack, oil pump, timing cover, then cam, all with the engine installed.
