Suspension Question
What is the best suspension upgrade I can do for about $200? Would it be the rear swaybar? I can go used or new. I know this is a very broad question, but I would like to hear some opionions!! Thanks

Thats a very BROAD question.
What year, how many miles, what suspension do you have now and what are your driving goals?
I have some answers but need to know ALL the above answers

Thanks Bill, I was actually waiting for someone to ask me some of them questions so I knew what to put down.
Currently all I have Bilstein Shocks. I have 99 FRC with 72k miles. I don't track the car but I have noticed some wheel hop and I would like the car to feel a little more planted if that makes sense? I will be taking the car to the track occasionally.

Drifting
don't know how many miles you have on the shocks (worn out?) or which Bilsteins, but the sports are a good shock and an aggressive alignment will give you some better handling. $200 does not give you a lot options.
Why are you considering a rear sway bar? What do you want to accomplish?

They only have a few thousand miles on them and I just got an alignment. I am a very very big newb when it comes to suspension...and I was reading a couple people had upgraded rear swaybar to fix the wheel hop issue?

What suspension do you have from the factory: BASE, or Z-51,
If you have BASE, get the Z51 or ZO6 springs and sway-bars with the metal end links and that will make a big difference. Thats about all you can do with that little cash out lay. Unless you get used, you may only be able to get the sway bars.

Well,,, your not going to see much improvement with C5 stuff. You may need to step up to C6 ZO6 components. Save your cash for coil overs.

Find some Z51 sway bars and aluminium end links
Just replaced stock shocks and sway bars. Used C5 Z06 shocks - big difference, and Z51 sway bars. Look in Parts for sale. Unless damaged you can't do much to sway bars. Total package is stiffer but not harsh. Might be overkill going to C6 Z06 shocks and sways.
My end links were plastic. Replaced them with aluminuim ones.
Go for both front and rear sway bars. I didn't change the springs. Don't think thats necessary for a street car.
