Just thought I would share my LS stroker build with you guys. Been collecting parts since last August and got the car home from the shop last Friday. Needs to go back for some final tweaking of the tune when roads are more suitable for some road testing and get some better gas in the tank. Check out the video! Cant wait to enjoy it.

Base line #s 324hp / 338tq
After #s 411hp / 365tq

- LS6 Forged 383 Short Block w/ Callies crank/ rods and Mahle pistons
- TSP Precision Race Components LS6 stage 2.5 CNC ported cylinder heads. Fully CNC ported LS6-based cylinder heads! NEW GM 243 castings
- 2.02"/1.575" Stainless Steel Valves
- PRC Double Spring Kit complete with Titanium Retainers, Seats, & Seal
- Yella Terra 1.7 rocker arms w/ ARP mounting bolts & Hi Tech Pushrods
- Milled to a 60-61cc combustion chamber
- OEM Head gasket – GMPP# 12498544 Approx. compressed thickness is 0.059-0.057.
- LS6 intake manifold w/gaskets. OEM coolant crossover block off kit needed to go from LS1 intake to a LS6.
- LS1 LS6 Corvette Vented Valley Pan Cover, w/gasket and low profile bolt kit and valley cover to intake manifold hose
- Comp Cam XR281HR-12 – 228 / 230 duration .571 / .573 lift 112-lobe separation. New Camshaft retaining plate w/bolts
- TSP LS6 high flow ported oil pump with new o-ring, GM Harmonic Balancer w/keyway matching
- Ford Racing #397-M-9593-BB302 Fuel Injectors 30lbs.
- Ceramic-coated Stainless Works 1 7/8 Off Road w/X-pipe Long Tube Headers
- OEM head bolts, OEM Valve cover gaskets, OEM Timing Chain Cover Gasket, OEM Water Pump Gaskets, OEM Crank seal, OEM Oil Pan Gasket, OEM
Rear Timing Cover w/rear main crank seal- OEM Harmonic balancer bolt
- NGK TR55 sparkplugs & MSD 8.5 Wire Set & Koolsox Spark Plug Insulators
- Fellpro header gaskets.
- Rollmaster Double Roller Timing Set
- LS7 Lifters
- LS2 Lifter Trays w/bolts

There has got to be a lot more out of a 383. I would not be happy unless I hit 500 at the wheels. My mild heads cam package hit 450/430 at the wheels. I would think you should be AT LEAST be around my HP level. I would talk to your tuner.

The #s should be better. I will be going back for some final tweaking in a few weeks when the winter weather takes a hike.

glad you got it home Brad! I still haven't had a chance to listen to the video but I will. it will probably make me super jealous driving my crappy ls1

here's to hoping the weather turns for the better. I have to be in Calgary next week but it looks like I'll be driving the truck since the weather likely won't co-operate.
