Default Best source for column lock bypass device?

My car is in need of a column lock bypass device (NOW) and the place my mechanic normally orders from is sold out. Where is the best source (quality) to get one?

Yeah, my mechanic looked at their kit and he said it was kinda funky, but that may be our only option.

I wish I knew of someone that stocks the thunder racing device.

There's nothing 'funky' about their kit. I've had mine installed for many years and it works, that's all you need.

Corvettes of Houston. Be sure you are home or have it delivered to your work address. They require a signature and UPS will send it back if they don't get one. Ask me how I know.

I got mine from Corvettes of Houston, does the job. Not that it's needed but you get the lighter adapter to power it up which is kinda nice.

What exactly does that do? Cause I noticed that the Thunder Racing one doesn't have that.

Steering Column Lock Bypass

Steering column lock bypass kit for all 1997-2004 Corvettes
This bypass will eliminate the problem with the steering column locking up
The kit includes bypass box, harness and connector, instructions and everything you need to install
Also includes a 12 Volt adapter, which is necessary to disable the lock before installing the bypass box. The adapter is no longer needed after the bypass box has been installed.
Purchase now and avoid being stranded because you start your Corvette and have the steering column lock and can't turn the wheels

Mine has the lock removed, but the error kept coming up and stranding me everywhere. Even with the bypass stuff on, I ripped it off, was fine for awhile then stradedme a few more times. So I got HPtuners and wiped it completely out.... so if the "Pull key for 10 seconds" or the "service column lock" pops up my car is still 100% functional.

If your lock is removed i'd recomend finding someone that can alter the table for you, I think the table had the settings on how fast you can drive if this happens.... I just put them all to the max. Otherwise this error could haunt you forever.

Adding emphasis to Lucky's post:

The lighter power adapter is just a jumper to be used once. It's for guys like me who thought their car was immune from this issue and didn't get the bypass until AFTER their car's column was hopelessly locked, leaving the car inoperable (...and the owner stranded in a rough neighborhood on a first date at 2:00am, .... and yes, I jiggled and beat on the thing till my palms hurt.) A jolt of +13.5v from the battery to the column lock harness will usually retract a stuck pin allowing you to get on with life. Once the pin is retracted, the CLB is wired into the harness in place of the column lock motor/pin and the jumper gets tossed. If you need but don't have one, a jumper can be made from a length of wire in a matter of minutes.
