clicking noise at right headlight

clicking noise at right headlight
My 2000 C5 right headlight just started making a clicking noise after the light assembly has closed. Is this a sign that the headlight actuator needs replacement and if so is this a difficult process.

That's it. My left light does the same thing. Taking mine into the dealer to get it fixed under warranty.

you need to make sure you get the right kit depending on your Vette year.
I consider myself to be slightly mechanically inclined. Oil change, replace filters, and I can follow instructions. Nothing big. I was able to do this without any issues at all.
Beats buying a whole new headlight motor with the same plastic gear...

The important thing is insuring the spacers/washers go back where they belong. It can be assembled slightly wrong and still go together. Just pay attention to what goes where and you'll be fine.
