Default DeWitts Quick Connect Fitting on Radiator?

Hi Everyone, almost done installing, but not sure if I have all the pieces and how you are supposed to connect this "quick connect fitting" into the radiator??

See picture below:

What do I do with the nylon/plastic ring ? How does this not fall back out if I were to shove it in there? (Actually I tried and it is pretty dang tight, so I figured I would ask here before continuing) Am I missing a threaded collar for the threaded portion shown in the pic. Never really used these "quick-connect fittings" before. Those fittings are from the C6 hard-line oil cooler lines. Thanks!

Anyone have pics of their DeWitts Radiator/Oil Cooler left-upper line on the driver side ?

What we have here is the wrong fitting in the oil cooler. You have an AN fitting which is a flare type fitting. The steel tube has the factory quick connect bead on it. The plastic ring is just a dust cap but you need to get the GM radiator fitting first

I think what you need is available from your local parts houses or even the stealerships.
Try local parts houses and ask for Dorman# 800-605. I believe this will fit right into the radiator and then just hook up your factory hardline into the fitting and you're done.
