Squeaking noise at certain throttle setting

Squeaking noise at certain throttle setting
Just looking for some ideas on what could be going wrong here... Through the first 4 gears (MN6), at about 20-25% throttle I am getting a squeaking noise coming from what sounds to be the rear axle. If I back off or advance the throttle, the noise goes away. It sounds similiar to the metallic rubbing heard when brake pads start to wear down. I'm weary of taking it in without having some inkling as to what the problem could be. Any help?

do you have aftermarket exhaust or tips?
My Corsa tips "sing" at certain RPMs because I can't get them tight enough. The sound is a kind of squeal/squeak and it is sustainable if I keep the rev's at the same point.
