I used C clamps on my dads SUV to compress both.

a flat wrench spanning both pistons, w/c clamp pushing on the middle of the wrench, to push both pistons in at the same time.

For the piston that is extended out. With the brake M/c lid off & 3/4 full of fluid, aplly pressure to piston w/clamp & release pressure by turning the bleed fitting for a split second. Should free things up.

Sounds like you popped it out of the o-ring. Try turning and pushing to work it back in. Don't just straight force it because if it catches a little you can tear the o-ring and then you'll have a big fluid leak. With a little pushing and turning they usually go back in pretty easily.

You'll also likely have brake fluid under the dust boot and you'll have to pull the dust boot off the piston and dry/drain most of that up.

As posted, you need to push on both pistons at the same time on these 2-piston calipers if you try to force the fluid back through the brake system. Or, open the bleeder screw a turn or so and the fluid will dump out of there as you push in one at a time.

After i posted this, cracked the bleeder and squeezed the piston back into the caliper. Bleed the system and seems good...will wait and check for any problems
