Default ABS Traction control issue

Codes:
P1571 - Traction Control Torque Request Circuit
C1243 - BPMV Pump Motor Stalled
B2527 - Horn Relay Circuit (actually unplugged fuse due to horn blowing at random)

Now what do I do? Are these difficult to fix on my own? Help, please!

I do believe this will help tremendously. Thank you very much. Chevrolet dealership said I was probably looking at over a thousand to fix.

P1571 is a persistent code on 97s and should be ignored unless there are traction control issues and all other codes have been solved. GM released a TSB on this. The TSB has been posted on the forum several times over the last 10 years.

I doubt you will be able to find replacement EBCMs and BPMVs for this car as the rear mounted EBCM/BPMVs only lasted through about half the 98 model year. Still you can check voltages and grounds and wiring to make sure they are in good condition. Well over 50% of all electronic issues are due to problems in those three areas so it doesn't hurt to check them. Here is the diagnostic for DTC C1243. Follow the diagnostic and do the things you can do with a DVM.
