transmission

question, with I drive my c5 about, 50 miles my egine light comes on and at the next stop the transmission will shtiff hard . I have had the car for over a year and the car drives and handles great . I have taken it to tramsmission shops, they drive it and say it ok . but it keeps happening. I had kit put in it to stop this but it did not work , when the temp gets up to about 210. and 50-60 miles it show up. can any one help, thank you

What's year and model of your car? Have you pulled your codes yet from the DIC?

Its shifting hard because the trans is going into limp mode and the line pressure is increased to protect the clutches from slipping. Get the codes and start from there.
