my traction control button does not work

my traction control button does not work

i have a 2000 c5 frc , and when i push my traction control button it does nothing????

i took the fuse out and then it turned off but i want the button to work. is there ne whay to just keep it off or just fix it? replace button? help!! lol thanks

Is it plugged in?

Have you checked your codes? What fuse did you pull.....the switch provides a ground to the BCM. Have you checked for 12 volts and ground at the switch connector? Have you checked the resistance value across the switch itself?

it has no codes, i pulled the trac control fuse i think. i have not checked ne thing else i will tommarow thaks for your help
