I've been plagued by the dreaded "service traction control, service abs" error codes and went thru all the code via the DIC. The only code that lights up in the 28-TCS category is C1214 Sol Valve Relay Contact or Coil CKT open. Is this a "real" malfunction or one of the many "ghost" code that appears for no apparent reason? Any ideas of making it go away forever? I get a bunch of duplicate codes come up under A0-LDCM & A1-RDCM.
There is a high probability with that code that you have a fatal error in the EBCM or the BPMV or both. It is voltage related so you should check all of the EBCM connections between the battery and the EBCM, connectors, wires, and the ground that runs from the BPMV to C102 on the driver's side frame rail. Make sure all connections are clean and making contact and that the wires are not damaged or pinched. Since you are getting codes in the doors although you don't indicate what they are I will assume they are voltage codes which could indicate an issue with the battery or its ground connections.
If the relay in the EBCM is bad that can be replaced by companies like ABSFixer but you should also check the BPMV motor circuits for any resistance to the case. If you don't have an open circuit from the motor circuits to the BPMV case then the BPMV is probably drawing too much current and that is the reason the relay in the EBCM has gone bad. Repairing the relay may make the code go away in that case but it will come back as soon as the relay burns due to much current draw. Minimum expense if you fix the problem by fixing the wiring/connectors/ground is less than $10. Maximum expense if you get the EBCM repaired and replace the BPMV could be over $1000 and close to $2000 if you go with a new EBCM.
Post all of the codes you can see on the DIC. U Codes in small numbers can be ignored but if a lot show up there may be other issues.
