I'm going to look at a C5 this weekend, and bringing my trailer in case I buy it. My question is, what is the best/ safest place to tie it down. Are there some sort of hooks under there I should look for?
BTW, I really wanted to buy it and just drive it home, but the car isn't really close to any airports and it's about 3 or so hours away, so I didn't really want to ask anybody to take the time to drive me that far and drop me off, and being I have to do it on a Sat. difficult to come up with a temp. plate.

I input the exact words from the title of this thread into the search function, and came up with this....among others:
They go in the frame shipping slots located just in front of the door and at the rear of the door. Those are the same locations the factory uses to tie down cars on the delivery truck.

Thanks, I can't really order any though, since I'm going Sat. I am going to try and find some locally.
