After some thoughts on my combo I am thinking about getting a little more aggressive cam. There are two i'm looking at. 228/232 .585/.595 113LSA XER or 230/232 .595/.585 112+4LSA cam motion. What are your guys thoughts on this possible cam change? I have postponed the install for the time being.

changing the cam out as per my post. didn't have enough time to get it before my install so it got pushed back a couple weeks. Wanted a little more cam with a little more bite then -1* overlap. Going to set up most likely for the MAY 9th now.

Dyno numbers are very subjective... Its not like getting on a scale and coming up with an absolute number everytime... what dyno?? Mustang??. Dynojet??... SAE corrected or STD corrected numbers? Or uncorrected numbers with no smoothing factor? Who is the technician?? If the numbers are uncorrected, whats your Density Altitude?? Your numbers may vary by as much as 30rwhp depending on what your answers are to the above questions.. Different techs and different shops do things differently.. Thats why you see crazy variations day after day and post after post on this forum... Based on the above variables you should make between 440-470 rwhp

I had a very similar setup, with the addition of a Meziere EWP, and a hand ported 90/90 setup that did 483/432 SAE corrected on a Dynojet, and then promply ate the stock clutch. My cam was a Crane 228-232@112+5, and .600 lift. I had one of the very first hand finished 215 Trickflows that TEA produced.(61cc) They had to be rebuilt after the rockers wore furrows in the valve stems. I barely caught it in time, but they paid for all new parts, and shipping. I just had to do it all over in my garage again.

I like that cam profile, that gets my vote! Although I would look into getting it in a different type other than XER.... less stress on your springs.

My guess would be 471rwhp / 427 RWT but with a nice overall power curve and very streetable!

The stock ones. The early TF heads geometry was different than current, and you had to have extra long PRs, and roller rockers. TEA sent me a free set of Harland Sharps, and they've worked fine.
