Pull codes and post sounds like bad ac actuator, if you dont have any codes may be low on freon. Re-indexing may work also do a search for instructions.
Common problem with C5. I would suggest before you do any tearing into actuators you have someone check the low/high pressures. Take it to someone that knows what they are doing and make sure the pressures are correct. There is a very good explanation here on the forum as to why the A/C does this. There are also good write-ups concerning the correct pressures at specific RPM/Temperture/humidity. The pressures have got to be correct or you will continue to have the problem. If the pressures are correct there could be a craked gear on the drivers actuator as suggested above. May or may not throw a code. Probably have a slow leak in the system. Good luck.....
