Default Speaker wiring help!

I posted this in the audio forum but thought I would post here as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am trying to re-install stock Bose speakers in my 97 C5. I have a question about the drivers side. Coming from what I believe is the signal proccessor are two orange and black wires and two green and black wires. Should these wires be tied together and then connected to the one black and orange and one black and green wire in the wiring harness? I sure hope that made sense!!!

Thanks
Mark

Nothing gets tied together

There are only two wires from the signal processor to the LF door amp:

1) Black
2) Tan

The two orange wires connect to the amplifier, and originate from the Bose relay.

There are two grounds wires for the amp also, both black/white stripe.

I do not see any green wires in the schematic, for the left door.

I thought I saw a diagram somewhere on the forum showing the black with orange stripe and black with green stripe in the wiring harness. I know there are one each in the harness and two each coming from the little box on the door. I just don't know how they tie together!

Good luck with that. I provided you with the factory schematics, and the wires you speak of (black/orange stripe, and black/green stripe) are not factory.

It looks like I found the problem . There was another box of some kind stuck on the door that these odd ball wires originated from. I am guessing it was some sort of amp for the speakers the previous owner had installed. After I pulled it out of the system it looks like all is good. I guess the wiring on the speaker doesn't match the colors of the wire in the harness? I appreciate your help!

No telling what the previous owner did. All you can do, is restore the wiring to original.
