I have a quick question for you guys........
I have a aftermarket alarm system in my car and today out of the blue my factory alarm started going off and I couldnt disconnect it. All I did was disconnect the battery so it would shut up. Is there a fuse or something I can pull to completely disconnect the factory system or will that screw up my aftermarket system. I know that the idiots at the shop should have disconnected it but there is no way to get it over there(I dont feel like driving with the lights and horn going off). Hopefully its a quick fix.
Just let me know.......
Quite often alarms and aftermarket stereos are somehow wired to turn on/off by the "PURPLE" wire behind the OBD2 connector via a jumper lead-- check that---unplug--snip--
