I need a good daily driven short throw shifter. Looking for either a MGW,TPS 427 or a Snap. They all seem similar, so what's the best or are they all good choices? Any pro's or con's?
It's all about personal preference. All these shifters you mentioned are great. Some shift effortlessly, some require abit more muscle. It also depends on your driving style. Good luck, MGW was my choice.
Shifters are all about personal preference... just like exhaust... the MGW is very short and notchy and some people don't like it... me included. Then you have the Hurst/ B&M/ LG which is not as short as the MGW but has a nice notchiness... which I like. Then there is the TPS 427 Shifter (Modified C6Z) and this shifter is great for C5 owners or people who want a nice smooth shift... I like this too BUT I like the Hurst style more because I like my shifters a bit on the notchy side BUT not like the MGW.
BTW, we have a nice shifter in testing right now that works real well and should be released in the next 30 days.

LMBO!!! Sorry Lucky...now I see why you gave me the old "beating a dead horse" when I asked same question last week. I'm getting the hang of this forum thing now.

What kind of shifter are you testing? I'm leaning more towards the TPS 427 cause i dont like at all how much muscle you have to put in the B&M shifter.
