Running Light Wiring
Wanted to add LED lights to come on with my front running lights. I soldered the LED leads into the wiring as follows: Ground to black wire coming out of the parking/directional light socket and the hot to the brown wire coming out of the same socket. When I start the car the LED lights do not come on even though the running light is on. If I turn the light switch to the first position which turns on the side marker lights, tail lights etc. the LEDs come on. Any suggestions, ideas? The only other wire coming out of the socket is a blue/white one and it is the directional feed.
