Default squeeling after catch can install?

Okay so I installed a sealed catch can on my car today.

I routed the drivers side valve cover to the rear passenger side, the the front passenger barb to the catch can.

Then the catch can went to the intake where the PCV valve was. I just blocked off the throttle body one.

I drove the car and all of a sudden during constant cruise or decel I got a high pitch squeel like a belt would. I popped the hood and the sound was comming from the intake. So i unplugged it and just put a cap on the intake at the PCV valve to get home and no issues.

Anyone heard of this? Ive always had non sealed catch cans.

So where is your clean fresh air intake to the engine crankcase?
And did you remove the PCV completly from the system, if so why?

This.. You need the hose that runs from the Throttle Body to the Passenger side Valve Cover for Fresh Air to enter the Crank Case.

I have my PCV routed from where the lines Y in the back, to the PCV Valve, to the Catch Can, and then to the Intake Manifold.

The squeal or high-pitched hissing noise sounds like there is a restriction on the clean air inlet to your crankcase---Make sure that there is no restriction----Another typical issue is that the PCV routing hose gets sucked flat---Used a lined high pressure fuel hose for the PCV routing (usually has a blue liner) or a heavy hose that won't suck flat
To test a clean air crank inlet restriction--try just taking the oil fill cap OFF and see if the noise goes away when driving---I also installed a "vented " oil cap on mine just to be sure there was plenty of air availiable to the crankcase--OR you can just install an aftermarket K/N style atmospheric breather to the driver's side valve cover-plug off the TB port and routing
